  • Increase in deposit contribution for PCP for Sportage and Stonic

  • Kia Motors (UK) Ltd has announced a wide range of offers for Q2, which will be available across their 191–strong dealer network from 1 April.

The Kia Scrappage Scheme, previously only available on Picanto and Rio, has now been extended to the all-new Stonic and cee’d family. Under this scheme, customers can receive £2,000 off the price of one of these new models when they scrap their old car of seven years or more. Like all Kia models, those included in the scrappage scheme offer the brand’s industry-leading seven-year/100,000 mile warranty.

To help customers discover Kia’s range of hybrid models, dealers will be holding a hybrid test drive challenge until the end of June. Any customer who test drives the Niro HEV/PHEV, Optima PHEV or Optima Sportswagon PHEV will receive £1,000 off if they purchase one of these new, fuel-efficient models.

Kia now offers a deposit contribution of up to £1,500 on Sportage and Stonic when purchased on PCP. While on Sportage the deposit contribution remains £500 for the grade ‘1’, customers wanting a grade ‘2’ or above with a petrol engine will receive a £1,250 deposit contribution. Those purchasing a grade ‘2’ or above with a diesel engine will receive a £1,500 deposit contribution. For the Stonic, the deposit contribution on 4.9 per cent PCP finance contracts has increased from £1,000 to £1,500 and is available on all grades and engines.

For the newly-updated Sorento, customer savings of £1,000 are now offered for the first time. This is available on all models including the sleek ‘GT-Line S’ grade and versions equipped with the brand-new 8-speed automatic gearbox.

Notes to Editor:

Kia Scrappage Scheme: requires the old vehicle to have been registered before 30th June 2011 and owned by the customer for more than three months. The Kia dealer will complete all the paperwork and arrange for the old vehicle to be destroyed through regulated and established channels. The scheme runs until 30th June 2018. There is no additional trade-in value of the car to be scrapped. The Kia Scrappage scheme cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion.
