Multipoint inspection

Before we put any of our used cars on display, we make sure it’s been through a thorough inspection by our skilled technicians who are there to carry out both internal and external checks, resolving any defects that may appear.

This inspection covers:

• Maintenance work
• Operation of electrical components
• Interior security check for operation and damage
• Check doors for operation/damage
• Visual check of exterior for damage
• Check boot/luggage area
• Under bonnet - for leaks and damage
• Underside - for leaks and damage on ramp
• On-road test

Mileage Verification

We make sure that every Approved Used vehicle has its mileage verified before it’s ready for sale.

Service history check

We know how important it is for drivers to have evidence of regular servicing. If you choose to buy a used Volkswagen, we will endeavour to provide evidence of the vehicle's service history.

Vehicle Validation

Every Approved Used car is checked against the following criteria to help ensure that no hidden areas may affect your purchase:

• Vehicle identity - make, model, colour, engine size and number, door plan, fuel type and transmission as recorded by the DVLA.
• Date of first registration - with the DVLA.
• Finance - is there any outstanding finance?
• Condition alert - has there been a total loss claim?
• Stolen vehicle check - has the vehicle been reported missing?
• Plate transfer - do any transfers hide a dubious history?
