Volkswagen set their engineers the challenge of building a luxury 4x4 that could outperform any of its rivals both on and off-road.

Even by their standards, the Touareg is quite an achievement. An incredible array of electronic control systems means you can drive it just like a normal car – but get outstanding performance in the most extreme situations.

On the road, it drives like a luxury saloon. It’s solid, responsive, with great performance – making you feel you can do just about anything.  And just in case you’re not impressed by all that, we’ve also provided a cabin which is, to say the least, extremely luxurious.
