• Car
• Insurance
• Servicing
• Tyres
• Breakdown cover
• Adaptations and wheelchair accessible vehicles are also available.
Over 500,000 customers currently choose Motability for their mobility needs and 97% of them would recommend the Scheme to their friends.

Some of our most popular motability special offers:
If you receive the Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance or the War Pensioners' Mobility Supplement, getting a new car is easier and more affordable than ever.
No waiting lists. No credit checks. No assessments required.
Contact Hire Scheme
Most customers choose the contract hire option, which gives you;
• A new car of your choice every 3 years
• Insurance and personal accident cover
• Servicing and maintenance
• Full breakdown assistance from RAC
• Free replacement tyres fitted by Kwik-Fit
• Window or windscreen replacement at no extra cost.
This worry-free policy continues right to the end of your three-year contract with a seamless transfer to your new car.
Hire Purchase Scheme
Some customers may prefer to buy their own car, in which case the Hire Purchase scheme might be for you. You will be responsible for organising and paying for insurance, breakdown recovery, your car tax disc, servicing and repairs.
The Motability Hire Purchase (HP) Scheme. HP may suit you if:
• you want to own a car and use your mobility allowance to pay for it
• you require costly adaptations
• you plan to cover high mileage in your car
Only the cash price of the car and the warranty may be financed with the Motability Hire Purchase Scheme.
Here are a few points you may wish to consider when selecting your new car;
A) Does the boot have enough space for the items I will regularly put in there? Can I carry a wheelchair?
B) Is there good all round vision in the driving position?
C) Can I move the back seats down to make more space in the back? Are there additional seating configurations?
D) Is the vehicle easy to enter and exit? Is there good rear vision for reversing? Can I adjust the seats enough to get comfortable?
E) Does the door open wide enough to allow you easy access and exit from the vehicle?
Adaptions
The Motability Managed Adaptations Programme has made it easier than ever to choose adaptations for your Motability car, often at no additional cost. Simply select the adaptations you require and order them in the dealership at the same time you order your new car. Many of the most popular adaptations are available through the programme.
